Cancelling Disc Burn

I just tried to burn music from my iTunes library to a blank disc and both times it stopped with an unknown error message. Anyone have this happen to them before, and what did you do? I've burned CDs before so I don't know why this isn't working.

    Does it say unknown error, or is it that you don't understand the error? If it gives you some information you can put it on google and it may pop out a discussion of the error somewhere.

    Use the program you normally use to burn discs, and if you are already doing that then I suggest you make a data disc of the mp3's first, create a new folder for them, upload them back on the computer, and try again.

    If the data disc burn doesn't work...then, hmmm.

    You need to let us know what burn software you are using, even if you're not using it. Did you download another player recently? Sometimes there are software conflicts when it comes to burning. Are you using XP? Have you looked into all your admin settings?

    I went through a disc burning problem once that was sort of hellish. It had something to do witht he free Adeptec software that came with the computer, so once I got rid of that things were working again.
