Messenger germs

Anybody else have this happen?

Last week someone I know popped up on messenger, im'ed me and said:

Check this out

then posted a link to a site where you could check who had deleted or blocked you on messenger.
Stupidly I logged in and checked.

I've since spoken to the person whose account the link came from and I know it wasn't actually them that sent it but now other people are saying that I've sent the link to them EVEN though I've been nowhere near a computer or logged in to send the link.

So I guess I need to change my messenger password?

Oh and if anyone got the link supposedly from me, I PROMISE, I've sent the link to no one, I've deleted no one and I've blocked no one! Well not in the last 12 months anyway.

    that is wierd Jeanie...I never had that happen yet..but then again, I rarely go on messenger. I wouldn't have any idea how to change my password and I have no idea what it is..it's saved in there and I just hit the sign in button.

    yes ive had this in the past, its some type of virus i believe but anti virus wont pick it up for some reason. i just system restored to a week before i had clicked it and everything was fine. so...do that :)
