Downloading private messages

Is the downloading private messages facility in our user cp for users to save their messages to pc without copying and pasting every one? If so, how does it work and what are those options stated about?

    Yes, that is exacty what is it for. At the bottom of your Inbox where it says:

    Download all Private Messages as :
    XML | CSV | Text

    Click on Text for the easiest read.

    XML is an Excel format and CSV is comma sperated values......for exporting and importing and importing. Text is the easiest for archiving and re-reading later.
