    put my name on that petition.
    we truly do need to be able to edit kat and sea.
    as has been pointed out, it's incredibly frustrating when you look at your post and notice the dumbest mistakes. sometimes it changes the the meaning of your work. other times it's just a bitch.
    it doesn't matter how careful you think you're being something always slips through.
    i don't even know how it's possible for the edit to be abused.
    can someone at least enlighten us about what went on to warrant such a penalty. :)

    The problem on the poetry board isn't to do with editing, anyway. It's to do with people making multiple, often duplicate threads. A lot of poetry forums have a daily or weekly thread limit.

    Yeah why not explain?

    If it's abused there then how and why not on the other boards.
    Come down Out of that Ivory tower and give an answer. This starts to look like a goverment. They never explain them selves neither.

    if you TRULY want an answer, your best bet is to PM either kat or sea. they really don't read each and every thread and post. if they even looked at this thread...doesn't mean they read later responses asking for clarification as to WHY it was taken away.

    in regards to posts that need editing, again, simply PM kat or sea, include a link to said thread and tell them what you want editied and they will do so for you. :) sure, way easier to do it yourself, no idea why we can't...but while we can't...that's what i have done, and they have always politely and quickly fixed whatever gaffes i pointed out and asked to be modified. :)
