If you or anyone else has a problem with it, then PM me. We'll talk. In the mean time, I'm sure I'm not breaking any rules.

this is the second time it's happened too.
  • I'm pretty sure I've had mine deleted before as well.
Well, lets put it this way, I had a sig and then I didn't. It was about dunk but then, most of them are, so...

I can see your signature now and I'm left wondering why you'd want to embarrass GTD by leaving this comment.

Would you like something you said in a moment of exasperation forever repeated?

    It seems rather unkind.

It's the principle of the thing.

If I was asked to delete it I would.

That's what I thought. I wasn't asked, it just went 'poof' and left me questioning myself.

    (Mine wasn't a personal dig though ;) )

I remember thinking your sig was really mean. I saw this thread and I was like..."hmmmm why would they delete his signature?" and then I was like..."ahhhh....that was that really mean one with a GTD quote."

I am not big fan of GTD. But I thought it was mean. Like not playing fair on the playground. Maybe they didn't tell you to delete it because they figured if you had the good sense and the compassion you wouldn't have ever put it there in the first place.

    Just my 2 cents....

Whatever. She said it. Anything posted on this board is fair game for a quote. If she didn't want it to be a big deal, shouldn't have said it on the first place. I didn't change it or anything, it was an actual quote.
  • Sorry, just read your first post on this thread properly. I'll PM you tomorrow. ;)

Yeah I agree if they wanted to be gone they could have asked for it to be removed. Just do it and not tell you is rather unkind

Come on bro, we all say stupid stuff sometimes on this board. I'm not sure if GTD is offended that you're mocking her with the sig or not, but if you are and isn't a friend of hers, why do it?

And yes, it's part of the rule. Users can't harass other members and that's what's you're doing to GTD with the sig.

    Hmm...

I see you've removed it. Good.

I think sometimes people use non-verbal cues to be more gentle in their hint.

Perhaps you needed to hear the words...BUT, that doesn't erase the fact that it was kinda mean.

    IT'S THE FUCKIG PRINCIPLE.

If she or a mod asked me to remove it, I would have.

    Don't just delete my shit.

But I took it down anyway for being "too controversial."

And don't say lame shit one the board if you don't want people to use it against you. It's mean, but why do I care?

how bad was the sig? if it was so bad man & the sig's comments hurts other peoples feelings, i would of taken it down like that. no pm needed. say if he/she (mod) would of pm'd you, and you don't reply back in a few day's. what then?

i'm a moderator over at another pearl jam site. comments that offends others or is very rude toward others .. is just not right. stuff like that doesn't need a pm to the user. there are board rules that are worded when you sign on the message board.

as for warnings, 2nd time it happens, i'll would of pm'd you. if you don't obey with the rules, i'm so sorry, i would of banned you from the board. that's just me. sad that i would, but comments that hurts other, is not right.

i agree, if i say some shit to someone and they decide to quote me i wouldn't be pissed off because i would think that it's a fair play. i'm nasty to someone they are nasty in return......

but then we are forgetting, it's a forum with moderatiors and rules, we can push our boundaries as much as we can....but unfortunately whilst we are here we agree to those rules....it's like being in another country...

i'm glad my signature is here :)
