Board Running Slow ?

I know during the early afternoon hours we had some high traffic (around 400) ... but it's 7:13est with only around 150 users tracked ...

maybe the server needs a reset or something, mods ?

anyone?

it's painfully slow cliking between links, or post submits or whathaveyou.

    You're not alone. I thought it was just my computer, but it's fine on other sites. It's happened a couple times today.

    it seems to work in fits and starts...quite irritating. besides the fact, i keep double-posting again....grrrr. :p

    Much better today, but still, I guess it was the maintenance on the board that caused the slowness of it.

    is it just me? :o
    the board has been hideously slow for me the past 2, maybe 3 days.....pages taking ages to load, error messages like mad, etc. it is very annoying/frustrating. grrrrr. i find everytime my husband uses bit torrent things slow down horribly, but even if i pause it now, doesn't seem to help at all. so i just wonder if it is this board, or what.

    ok, thanks. not that i wish the same issues on anyone - but today in particular - gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! :mad: really ridiculous, serious error messages, can't find server...blah, blah, blah. then, it'll be find for a bit...back to running s-l-o-w.....then error messages...then ok...etc....etc.......

    It's slow as slugs for me too... hopefully it's just too many people posting at the same time. Threads I just read on Porch are already on the third or fourth screen!! There's a whole lot of hubbub around the new CD and the NY shows so maybe it'll speed up once the Letterman and NY shows are over.
