"Alive" was covered by Patti Smith at the Roskilde Festival in 2001. The song was performed in memory of the nine people who died during Pearl Jam's appearance at the Roskilde Festival in 2000.

Could any of you send a copy of that to me, please?

I remember listening to this and being upset that Patti Smith would sing "I'm Still Alive" only a year after the tragedy. You know, almost as a slap in the face to those who perished.

However, this was before I knew that Alive was the next song in the set when the tragedy took place. Also, I heard from someone who attended both Roskilde 2000 and 2001 who said that the Patti Smith Group's performance of the song was cathartic. So, my opinion has changed on it.

I was never able to find it anywhere. Always wanted to hear that one, since I didn´t attend the festival in 2001.
I should have though, the line up that year was crazy...Young, Dylan, Smith and so on

no, its just awful in an awful kinda way. melody is way off, riff is wrong, and lyrics are wrong, and her voice is fucking terrible.
