So when you unplug it from your computer, nothing shows up on your iPod..do I have that correct?

When I unplug it from my pc, and go to artists, there is nothing there.

But when it is plugged in, everything shows up. You know how the name of your ipod shows up, all songs show up then. thats weird.

    Yeah thats it.

Are you dragging the songs from your iTunes library into your iPod?

I don't keep my songs in my library, my computer can't handle it.

I don't get it? All songs show up when it is plugged in, in iTunes. I can listen and watch videos, etc.

When I unplug it, and take it to my stereo to crank, it is showing that there is nothing there.

Sorry man, I am freaking out a little bit.

Don't freak out...I'm sure it's something that easily fixed.

First, check your prefrences to see if something is keeping you from seeing songs on your iPod.

Also, check out some Apple Forums...I have gotten great help from them concerning my iPod.

Haha, I'm an ass. Thanks PBM, the almighty. I just reset it by holding the middle button and the menu button, and everything showed up after that.

*Takes long, deep breathe, and takes a swig of the 40oz., ahhh.

This iPod makes me freak out all the time, too much time and money, not too.

Which is why I spent the extra $50 on the extended warranty...anything goes wrong, I let Apple deal with it.

    :D
