volume normalizer program & fade in/out program?

can anyone recommend me a good free one, that doesn't kill my CPU? i only have 192mb ram and 681mhz so big fancy audiotools won't do it.

    it's actually http://www.download.com...but your posted url will work too becuase they bought http://www.downloads.com and it resolves to http://www.download.com ...good suggestion btw.
