    I don't discount it. NME has had a link up all day teasing the announcement of a secret headliner. NME is a well-respected music mag. I wouldn't think they'd fuck up something like this...We shall see...

    It is bogus. Zeppelin is not playing. The official lineup was on the site a moment ago (with no Led Zeppelin,) but it looks like someone may have hacked into the site so it is down. Sounds like someone's playing a prank.

    that would make sense but they had lez and led zeppelin on the site. I think LED Zeppelin was supposed to be a surprise for later and it got leaked to some outlets and not to others.

    zep could well be released earlier and they will lie up and down about it. i think there is a legitimate fear that announcing zep to early would result in an absurd ticket resale market. who knows, who cares, everything else is just icing on a big pearl jam cake.

    There is no point in announcing it later. If LeD Zeppelin played, it would be the hottest show all summer. The promoters would want to exploit this, not hide it.

    I can guarantee you the promoter has not announced that Led Zeppelin is playing Bonnaroo this year. Seems like something like that would be on the official site.

    Before I go to bed, I just want to know who your source is. You have been refuting the Zeppelin rumors with authority for a month now. You also alluded to Pearl Jam playing. Do you have contacts at Bonnaroo? I'm just reporting what I have found online in this thread but I'm curious to know how you can be so positive and keep telling us to trust you.
