just curious. i am sure i could look it up on the web. but I'd rather ask the fine pj fans on this board.

what is the largest ipod, mp3, flash drive etc available on the market?

80G? more?
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    Yep.

But if you're looking for largest flash-based, I believe it is 32 GB iPod touch or the Sansa View. Technically, the View is larger because it comes with 32 GB and then has an expansion slot.

The biggest and best? I got an iPod nano 4GB...not a big fan of it.

  • The 160gb iPod can be used the same way one would use a thumb drive. I make my iPods serve double-duty all the time :)

But keep in mind that the 160 GB iPod has a spinning platter hard drive. It is not solid state like the flash based iPods are. That means it is more likely to malfunction if you drop it or it is subjected to some sort of physicla jolt.

Can you imagine how soon the replacement HD's fly off the shelves for those?

probably faster than one can say repair depot

The highest capacity iPod with flash memory is the 32gb iPod touch. Still, I'd say the best iPod for excerisers would be the Nano.

But you'd be pretty surprised by what the iPod classic can withstand. Over time, lots of consistant movement will ultimately take its toll, but it's still a pretty tough little guy. They have a pretty good life span.

Come on!! It's not the size of it that matters. It's how you use it! (sorry, i had to) I'll leave now.
