mpeg added to itunes?

Just downloaded hard sun into my itunes but I can not seem to add it to my library. how do I add a:

mpeg layer 3 audio

to itunes?

    click and drag...you may need to rename it once its in.

    no good with that. i dragged it all over. any other ideas?

    file>add file to library
