I have tried spreading the Pearl Jam vibe to 4 people - 2 successfully. My cousin who is 15, and my little brother who's 11 ( a major Kiss fanatic) - :D I gave my cousin a cd full of Pearl jam.. and I also handed her Immagine in cornice and Into the wild to loan... ;) She wants to come with me to see some shows when PJ comes to Europe next time.
Won't let the light escape from me.
Won't let the darkness swallow me.

To me memory I have converted but one friend into a full-fledged fan, but most of my friends have been fans for a long time, some more than others.
One of my closest friends over the last four years or so is a tough nut to crack though. There's around a 10-year age difference between us and I knew when we became friends there was no need because she wasn't far removed from high school and liked all the teeny-bopper crap for the most part and country.

But, I broke through with Ryan Adams and Ben Harper over the last year or so...and now she is a huge fan of both. I recently burned her a couple of PJ discs having seen that she took an interest at how excited I was to see them at Bonnaroo.....seemed like a good time to strike.

Well, she says she has listened to one of the discs quite a bit -- one mostly with the more mellow songs -- but I don't think she has really given the faster one a much of a try. I'm still working on it though
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

Here’s a question you might need to ask
What’s self destruction and how can we last?

Well, seeing as I'm an electrician I've shown 1000's the light. ;)
At the same time I've also shown them the door
