anyone else having trouble? i'll type a message, hit preview or submit
and the whole thing freezes up, kicking me off of the internet - no message sent ????

'program not responding' end now

just wondering if i am the only one

    Only one

    Try this

    Open up IE (the devil) and click tools -> internet options -> advanced tab -> under browsing -> Uncheck enable third party browser extensions -> restart computer and download a spyware removal tool (I suggest Ad-aware or Spybot) Update and scan!

    I'm having the same problem. I've noticed it only happens if there is a lot of text, like keep quoting with the person I'm PM'ing. If I keep my PM short and clean up old quotes it seems to work.... Annoying though, especially when you type a lot and then lose it!

    when i send a pm, no matter how short or long it freezes on a white screen for up to 15mins! not exagerating, it usually then crashes, sometimes it sends

    You're not the only one. See my thread on here about just posting on a thread when quoting. People are having troubles with that too.

    sounds way too complicated for me

    ah man, it's super easy to do.

    I know I make it sound complicated, but all you have to do is go into the internet options then just uncheck a box, hit apply, ok, then restart the computer.

    it's done this when replying to other's PMs for me.....but when creating a PM from scratch (going to their name and 'send blahdiblah a PM') it works just fine....if that helps, but...cleaning up the computer is good too.
