iPod / external harddrive question

I'm gonna buy an external harddrive this weekend, cause my normal harddrive is getting a bit full. No I have an iPod and iTunes and all of that is located on my normal hard disk. If I wanna go and put all of my iTunes music on my external harddrive, does that mean I'll have to fill it completely over? Cause my iTunes won't 'find' the songs anymore right? Or are there tricks to prevent that from happening?

Hope you know what I mean...

cheers

I did this a few months ago and it was a LOT easier then i anticipated. I am not really very computer savvy so i was worried about this.

check out this link it walks you through step by step what you need to do.

I hope that helps and best of luck. Filling your computer with music is a good problem :)
