Anyone have a turntable with a USB outlet?

I'm thinking of getting one for my gf for xmas and was wondering how well they actually work. And are they easy to convert the vinyls to mp3?

I've never understand the necessity of that.... everything that exists on vinyls can be downloaded in MP3 format. Or CDs can be found. A turntable is made to listen to the vinyls, not to convert them.
You'd better buy a "simple" turntable, without the USB option. you'll have a better turntable for the same price... my 2 cents

We already have a "simple" turntable that works well. But I don't know, she told me she really wants one with a USB option

It works pretty well, Just takes a few tries to get used to it.

For the record everything on vinyl is not on cd/mp3. Old recordings have not all been converted.


I am pretty happy with it, I have the Newmark model. Just get a good cartridge and make sure your records are clean. pops really screw up the sound on the recording(it maxes it out with some distortion).

Just keep in mind converting to digital pretty much elimantes what makes vinyl better

this would be ideal for my setup, i got a nice 5.1 speaker system for pc, would sound great,

i have my regular turntable plugged into aux subwoofer, but it's not loud enough i think i need a pre-amp and am still lookin for a cheapie one somewheres (posted a thread about this months ago)
