    If this was asked a few years ago I'd have to say Cornell, with his range. In the past few years he hasn't been able to hit those high notes as well. So I'd have to go with Ed these days.

    I would have said Cornell too...Before I heard this whole "Scream" fiasco.

    Thom Yorke could be a good solo artist, however his solo album was rubbish...He should have called it "Man Inside Machine" cause it basically sounds like he was humping his computer.

    I love all 6 of those bands and the solo work from them, except for Cornell's Scream.

    Really? Love eV solo - even in the small length of time between the west coast and east coast gigs he got considerably stronger. Hands down wins the category.
