MS Excel help

I can't believe I forgot this….in excel, say I want column A to be numbered like 1-100…instead of writing all 100 numbers you can make it number itself, but I forgot how…anyone know?

    put number one in cell A1, then drag down cell A1 to A100 but left clicking on the lower corner of A1 and dragging down. Make sure the column type is numeric. Otherwise you have to fill in A1-A3 with 1, 2 and 3 and then highlite all 3, then drag A3-->A100 as described above.

    ohhhhh yeah, thanks! I had only 5 items, then today I needed to add around 50, I was forgetting to highlight 1-5 and only highlighting 5 which added '5' in all of em. Thanks again!
