had to reinstall windows and decided to try azerus as the bittorrent program this time...downloading some stuff now and just wondering what the numbers in ( )'s mean?
like it says 'seeds 18 (24) peers 1 (3)'
anyone have any idea?

Azerus is a resource hog too. I recommend trying BitLord, you might like it (you might hate it, too, but it's worth a try :P).
thanks, i downloaded it and tried to use it but it gave me an error saying dimeadozen wouldn't allow bitlord and that's pretty much the only site i used for torrents, i get most of the stuff thru dc++

wel azureus is the best for beginners... and it is genrally the best client
every tracker accepts it
for a beginner .. i would recommend µTorrent. it is way easier .. and you don't need Java JRE (1.5) .. to work it.
what Rygar said earlier .. 'Azerus is a resource hog' .. it is for sure.
