Converting MOV to AVI without sound

I want to import some footage shot on my digital camera in Windows Movie Maker, but I don't want the sound to be included.

When I import the clip now, my digital camera sound over-rides my background music of the movie I'm making.

When I converted from MOV to AVI, I unchecked the "Convert Audio" button hoping that the sound wouldn't import, but no luck.

Any ideas?

    As usual, as soon as I asked the question, I figured it out.
