Editing problem?

I can post in a thread with no problems but if I go back and edit something, I find myself looking at the log in screen after hitting 'save'.

After I re-enter my log-in info, I'm taken to my edited post but the page looks weird...it's all white, no background colors. I'll try to copy and paste what I see....

The post IS edited in the end....it's just odd that it's happening.

this is weird. On the strange screen (it doesn't have the word archive in the http. btw) There is an edit and cancel button. If I hit edit, it takes me to what I believe is the old system where the edit functions only include "Save Changes" and "preview changes" there is NO Go Advanced Button..

Try clearing your cookies and offline files. Then close your browser. Then when you re log into the Pit, check the box that remembers you.

When you see an all white background, does the URL (web address) have the word archive in it? Like this: http://forums.pearljam.com/archive/index.php/f-3.html ?

Yeah, I caught that too. There used to be a time limite (I thought) to edit without the edited note...but not anymore.

Earlier today, I posted this link:

It's the strangest thing.....it gives me 2 different things when I click on it.

One click will give me "4 entries found for viabilty" and another tells me that there is 3 entries found for viability. I have never encountered this problem with dictionary.com.

Will someone please click on the above link a few times and see if it happens to you?
