THE PHOTOGRAPHER planning to smoke the stolen ashes of tragic rockstar Kurt Cobain in a joint, as part of a bizarre art exhibition in Germany, hails from Melbourne.
Natascha Stellmach, who recently relocated from Australia to Berlin, claims her performance prop spliff will contain the Nirvana star's cremated remains.
The RMIT and La Trobe University graduate sent Cobain fans batty on music blogs last week when she revealed her potty plan.
The ashes were supposedly stolen in May from Cobain's widow, Courtney Love, who kept them inside a pink teddy bear at her Los Angeles home.
At the time of the break-in, Love told reporters she was "suicidal" over the theft, but, bizarrely, later claimed they were never taken in the first place.
