I'm not a huge fan of chains but I do like On the Border as well as P.F. Chang's. Though I don't know if those are national chains or just in California. :o

I used to like Macaroni Grill but then they changed their menu a few years ago

Outback is good too, but Red Lobster has a special place in my heart as it was the first 'upscale' restaurant my family and I went to when we came to this country..and it was the first time we ate seafood like lobster and crab ;)..and chiqui, they still have the same banging biscuits!!

heehee those crazy seniors eating dinner at 4pm

Oh, well the one across the street from my campus in Seattle was not nice! I've seen a couple others that are kind of sketch. But I remember when I was little we went to the one across the street (or down the street, I don't know) from Disneyland and I thought it was so cool that they had blueberry syrup!! As well as several other kinds! I'll always be a maple girl though. :o
  • Man, I really hate most of these places, but if I had to pick a couple chain restaurants I go to, I'd say Cheesecake Factory and El Torito, Acapulco, etc.

Both of those are in Arizona too. Actually, I think the only place I've seen a "On the Border" was in the airport.

My vote goes to Paradise Bakery.

They have other stuff on the menu? I thought it was breakfast all day!

I prefer homeade pancakes, french toast, etc, but I will say Baker's Square has some really good Cinnamon Roll French Toast...that can't be good for you though!

it's not like anyone is calling this 'australian food'...

people like the place. it's ok. i think the best thing there is the caesar salad. i always laugh when i hear one of the wait staff ask "would you like a Fosters?...it's australian..."
