kinko's robs the shit out of you, I remember I had to make some brochures and copies of legal documents, I had to pay like $1000... the assholes tried to charge me like $1700 too, it was a looong argument.

yeah well, i had 90 cents on a kinko's card i wanted to get rid of ;)

there's not much competition around here. printing out 1000 pages here would have taken hours and probably $200 in ink cartridges.

you couldn't buy a couple of reams of quality paper....ink cartridges or whatever your computer printer uses...and do this all from home? i don't get it. i ALWAYS do my resumes, cover letter, etc...from home...and highly doubt you could possibly see any difference between mine and kinkos.

and i am sure if the whole job search pans out...and you know eventually it will....you shall have NO worries there. so sure...poor you and your $200. :p

ahhh, just saw the post above, and none the less...i doubt it. :) 1000 pages, especially with straight black printing, really would not go thru THAT much ink overall. i most definitely think it would be far less than $200...including the paper. it's all a question of your time vs. your money.
    Stay with me...
    Let's just breathe...

I am myself like you somehow

my printer's a piece of shit. even with a fresh cartridge, i get spots and lines and faded parts if i try to run more than 10 pages at once. i'm going to be printing off cover letters all night actually. it would have taken days, so it was a matter of convenience at kinko's. it's a tough bullet to bite, i'm just hoping the investment pays off.

and i may not be making as much as you think if it works ;) my career path if absurdly backwards. 6-figure jobs like leaves on trees, but stiff competition for the low-paying jobs. i'm hoping for the latter. i don't have the work ethic for the former ;)
