Watched the new episode last night on Showtime. Looks like it is going to be a exciting season. Can't wait to see what happens. Anyone else into this show as much as me?

    God I hated her.

Love Dexter so much I even read all of the books :)

Ain't gonna be any middle anymore.
  • Just re-watching the first season for the third time (literally as I write), about to move to the second (also third time) Unfortunately I'm in Australia and don't have Showtime anyway, so I have to wait for the DVD's to come out here before I get a taste of Season 3.

I enjoy this show immensely because I relate to Dexter in a very precise manner.
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.

There is no such thing as waiting where the internet is concerned, just watch it online!!!

I watched the new episode yesterday, very cool - my favourite show on tv by far.
  • Thanks... Gotta be honest though, I still want the DVD in my hand so I can watch it the way I watched the other two seasons, in one sitting each. Yes... twelve eps in one sitting. Couldn't help it... I'm in love with Dexter. :)

Fair enough. The dvds take ages to come out over here in the UK, I'd seen the whole of the second series before the first series had made it to TV here, and then the first season dvd came out months after that. But yeah, I was pretty much the same with the first series, I watched the whole lot in two days - having to wait a week between each episode is really annoying!

i know right? she was such a manipulative bitch. god i felt so bad for rita.. literally i would scream at the tv. haaated her.

i actually read the book first which lead me to realize there was a show. i'm slow. anywho iliked the books but it made me all confused as to what happened in the books or on the show.

but i loooove deb. finally a girl who curses as much as i do :)

what do you guys think of episode 2? i thought 1 was okay. but this one, especially towards the end really kicked it up a notch like the first two seasons did. however, i just find it a little odd that jimmy smitts' character wouldnt have wanted to at least look at the bastard he thought killed his brother ya know? still, that scene was pretty damn intense. great show

this season is making me perplexed. i loooove dexter. but this turn is just odd for me. maybe its because i love the set up of a story.. any show i looooove its always the first season i love the best because thats where the story is setting up. now Dexy has all these responsibilities.. babies and such.

i'm still highly confused as to why an ADA would become so chummy with a blood analyst. i know he is trying to get more info on his brothers case but do you think that he is also a killer like dexter? they can smell their own? it would be fitting.. cept he didn't know that dexter was actually the one who killed his brother. and they focused on the fact that freebo's blood is on the dude's shirt. so thats gonna come up somehow too.

I love Dexter so much. I heard that episode one this season broke some sort of record for cable television. I can't recall the specifics on that though.

After I watched episode one of this season I thought "well, I didn't see that coming". Episode two had me so twisted up and tense that I laid awake in bed for an hour just thinking about it.

I love how Michael C. Hall can look so sweet and normal in one scene and in another, just look so creepy and evil. He's just fantastic.
  • Dexter is a amazing show. Totally dig the show for sure! Have to watch each episode 3 times before the next episode, just so I don't miss anything

yea jimmy smits' character is confusing me. like, if he sees dexter there at freebo's gf's house with blood on him and a knife in his hand, and he is OKAY with dexter killing this guy.....you mean to tell me he's not going to walk the extra 5 feet to at least look at the scumbag he believed kill his brother despite that legal term the dex mentioned? hell no. that scene was so intense. but i just have a problem with the way it ended. last season got a little too unbelievable. and it looks like this one is heading down the same path.....THAT SAID---i still LOVE this show! its almost impossible to top season 1. but its still the best show on tv

I'm leaning towards Jimmy Smit's character being a killer, or maybe it's his other brother that is a killer.

i have the theme song in my head all day damn it! i like it though.

what do you guys think of the season so far? not sure i like miguel knowing dex is a killer...the season is defiinitely different than the first two, it just seems like its going in too many different directions and becoming more and more unbelievable to me.

    what say you?

I thought this last season, this season wasn't as bad. I didn't care for Miguel finding out about Dexter taking care of "Problems" for him. Remember he still doesn't realize what he is.

It's going to take a turn soon though.

  • How's this season coming along? I loved season one, but season two didn't live up for me. Lilah was the lamest character ever. She annoyed the bejesus out of me. Plus, I didn't like what they were doing with Dexter's character... he went from medical sociopath to suddenly having all this angst... I wasn't a fan.
she was underwhelmed, if that's a word
