    Yeah someone was telling me that schools on the East Coast got the day off!! :eek: No fair!!! Good thing I have Cesar Chavez day to look forward to in March! :rolleyes:

    lol enjoy...and in NYC we actually get both days off!! And the funny thing is, none of my students are Jewish...uhh, none I know of in the district really..lol..though I'm not complaining..

    We need more Jewish people where I live to get these extra days. :p Makes me think of "Saved by the Bell" when Zach pretended to be Jewish so he could get a holiday off and go to the Dodgers game.

    So in NY you get these 2 days off in addition to the regular holidays that are given? (MLK, Presidents day, Veterans day, etc?) I'm really jealous now!
