what was the last movie you saw that you can say you loved??

for me it was last thursady, into the wild
always loved the soundtrack and wanted to see it, and the thought randomly creeped up one day, so i went to blockbuster with a mission and just rented it.

...and i was amazed.
i loved it!

I just watched Lars and the Real Girl. What a totally great movie. :)

    I thought it was just...okay.

I watched it recently on my PSP (on a long-ass flight) and after all of the "hype", I was a little disappointed.
    Oh well.

I'm not sure of the last movie "I loved".

    Hmmm

    Oh well.

I must have missed out on the Lars and the Real Girl hype.

I didn't see it in the theaters because I thought it was just a re-make of Mannequin, starring Andrew McCarthy, and you can't re-make genius ;).

That's why I was surprised at how pitch perfect Lars and the Real Girl was. There were so many places where this movie could have gone horribly wrong, yet it remained sweet and honest. I dug it.

I also loved Persepolis...one of those movies I couldn't stop thinking about for three or four days afterward.

There was no question that nobody was talking about this movie while in theaters, and like so many it never really got traction until people started talking about this "little movie you may have not heard of".
Before I saw it, I heard soooo many people talking about how great it was. Well, from all the talk I checked it out and found it to be decent, but nothing spectacular.

hmm. complete blackout.. I think I've been watching too many movies recently. :o

no wait, I thought The Family Stone was excellent. I was very dubious at first but decided to give it a go - luckily. it was funny, sweet and somewhat emotional..

Hot Fuzz wasn't bad either. :D

and before those two Into The Wild.
