    And Marshall pitching tomorrow.

Not feeling good about it, but please for the love of god no sweep.

Also, I know the Cell was garbage, but what's with all the trash blowing all over the field today? What a DUMP!!!

You mean like all the garbage Cubs fans kept throwing on the field last season..

Atleast The Cell doesn't smell like piss. :p

Seriously, Wrigley is NOT one of the cleaner places I've been.

You should do that. Although I might make for a long ride on the redline. :)
It will be interesting.. I'll have my Sox hat and jersey on.. It's about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the Redline from my place and another 15 minutes on the redline.. Fortunately for myself given circumstances, I do not own any brooms.
  • 6-5...wow. Upsetting to say the least. The Cubbies will come back though, like they always do. :D

Why do you guys call them the Cubbies? That sounds so childish and gay. It's like me calling the Sox the Soxies.

That's weird I just call the Sox garbage.

Well, much like the history of the Cubs vs. White Sox...it ends up being even.

    Good series!

    Well that was fun. :)

Now to get back to the business of winning the division. Those Twins are too close for comfort, and the Tigers are creeping up.

If Yakov Smirnoff was a baseball fan...

On the south side, garbage takes you out. ;)

Even? What are you talking about? Sox swept the LAST series.. :p
  • Sox have a good team, Cubs have a good team. Both should win their division.

    Isn't it 33-33 now?

If you look at all the stats it's pretty incredible how similar they are in this matchup.

So what were your friends fighting about?

I have no idea. They aren't really my friends, but my bosses friends. I just came back from the washroom and saw them flying around throwing punches with bloody mouths. I was drunk myself at that point and didn't know what was going on. It was a little chaotic.. They got kicked out and then got into a fight with their two Cubs friends in the parking lot because they didn't back them up. It was stupid. They were piss drunk.

It would be my luck to have seats right next to those fuckers. I mean seriously, why do people have to be that way? Not only did they look like complete fuckin' idiots who really should have been arrested, but I'm also fairly certain it ruined the game for people around them.

Oh well, I guess I just don't understand people sometimes...

Haven't been on here in a while, good to see the usual suspects still keeping up the baseball chatter. Complete madness these last two weekends and I'm glad it's over. I must say though, the games had a playoff atmosphere and were really fun to be at. But now the focus turns to the division. Go Sox!

    Also, any thoughts on a Cubs-Sox rematch in 08? I don't think it'll happen....

And whatever happened to that obnoxious Twins fan? guyote or whatever. I could use a little divisional smack talkin haha.
He floated back down 'cause he wanted to share, his key to the locks on the chains he saw everywhere.

Hahahaha, I forgot about that guy! He hasn't been on here in a looooooong time. His ridiculous Twins and Vikings ramblings were always some of the most absurd posts on here.

Was sitting in the RF bleachers and could absolutely notice the brawl in center from where we were. Very electric atmosphere and even as a Cubs fan I can say they have done a lot of nice things with the cell (last time I was there was about 14-15 years ago) and it's a lot better now. Left after the HR in the 8th and glad I did cause I got home a lot earlier than I thought I would.
