I'm guessing this is a joke for dunk
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -
You should be nervous... People like Dunk live there in little huts on Loch Ness with their battleaxe wives and ginger kids all dressed in kilts, sporrans and blue war paint. Internet-less and living off haggis, they sacrifice foreigners for sport.
True story.Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.0 -

i'm in Scotland
i have 20,001 posts
does that answer the question?oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.0 -
oh boy
i knew this was going to be a funny one.
Great reply Dunkman.
Why the hell are the nervous?0 -

Helen, you have gotta stop smoking them jazz fags!"Don't be faint-hearted, I have a solution! We shall go and commandeer some small craft, then drift at leisure until we happen upon another ideal place for our waterside supper with riparian entertainments."0 -

You won't need the internet there. They've perfected the art of smoke signals. Just take plenty of damp wood, blankets, and matches.
On second thoughts, forget the matches. That might confuse them. Just take some flint.
Oh, and if someone calls you a cunt, just smile.0 -

Well the Scottish are just like us here in England... they just have less of a stiff upper lip, shorter tempers and a higher alcohol tolerance levelBeen to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

who is this person?!
Yeah, um. Don't go unless you have a penchant for deep-fried heroin and shortbread and a tendency to stew a pot of tea for 12 hours until it reaches the consistency of tar. You won't fit in."I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"0 -
