I don't have Blue Ray. Will there be deleted scenes on the DVD?
Probably some sort of tribute to Heath Ledger or a behind the scenes of his make-up and costume. I was kind of hoping that they would have some sort of box set including all the Batman's since 1989. I don't think it's coming though.

I could see that. I that this initial release isn't going to have a lot of additional footage. The will probably add to a special edition in another year. Just make everyone have to buy it again. I kind of doubt all the batmans will ever be packaged again, just because I don't think they were made by the same studios. I could be wrong though. I wouldn't be surprised if they packaged the dark knight with batman begins though.

gues we'll have to wait for a few months before they give us the deleted scenes..the movie is getting re-released in theaters the day after the Oscars are announced on January 22nd
I am still getting it Tuesday even though in a few months , there will be the "Hyper-Diaper-mustown-version your children warned you about-go out and buy it again you fool" Version
If a man speaks in a forest and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?
1) It's a supporting role and anytime a supporting player steals the movie they usually win (Tommy Lee Jones in Fugitive, Marisa Tomei in My Cousin Vinny, to name a few).
2) Some will feel he got robbed for Brokeback Mountain, thus will reward him here (same theory as Russell Crowe winning for Gladiator when a lot feel he got robbed for Insider).
3) He did a tremendous job and legitimately can be viewed as a top-10 villian in pop-culture history with his iconic portrayal. I was never much a fan and haven't seen many of his movies, so didn't have anything to compare to his work, but I've seen some stuff on cable and Youtube in the past year and he was quite diversified and versatile as a performer.
I don't want to hear any bull that he'll get the sympathy votes because he passed away, but realize that it will play a part in the voting. But no doubt he would have won regardless.
