    Me too. Or from a potential big investment. Nice to see they are not killing again again in this time recession.

    Don't you Phillies fans think it would have been more exciting if the they played the Red Sox in the World Series? There wouldn't have been an nice weather game the whole series!

    Congrats by the way. The past few years have been great for teams who haven't had championships in a while.

    thank you. yes, i was hoping for the sox. i thought the rays posed a much tougher matchup for us. alas, it all worked out though! but a sox/phils matchup would have been really old school.

    Initially I was going to root for the Rays, just because of the turnaround they had, but the more they showed Johnny Gomes in the dugout with that stupid mohawk the more I disliked them (with respect). It wasn't hard rooting for Chase Utley and come on, Jamie Moyer? That guys totally deserved to win a ring after pitching for a century.

    This is true...and for the record I was rooting for Boston in 2004...but the "Nation" has gotten to be a bit much...Bring ït! This is Phillies Planet bitches! :D
