Some Notable Persons Who Passed Away in 2008

edited November 2008 in All Encompassing Trip
The year is winding down, and what a year it's been. Still can't believe clicking on the Boston Herald in January to see a bulletin that Heath Ledger passed away. He won't even see his first Oscar win. And then there's Roy Scheider. That scene in "Jaws" where the shark jumps up to take the bait while he's looking away, and then he turns and the shark is gone is iconic. And then there was George Carlin. And Tim Russert. And Tony Snow. I had just seen Leroi Moore in Boston a week before his accident as the Dave Matthews Band played in Mansfield. Who knew that'd be one of his last performances? It makes you certainly appreciate life more.

Anyways, here's some listings of notable passings from 2008:

R.I.P. Bernie Mac. I still can't believe he died this year at such a young age.

I think that's why i'm not big on new years celebrations, this kind of stuff makes me so nostalgic for the year behind us that I find it depressing to move on.

but then I remember, spring trainnig is only around the corner and it perks me right up :D
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

If someone told me the guys who made Double Dragon II died I would be genuinely upset.
