What's your newest favorite Pearl Jam song?

So after the tour has wound down and the bootlegs are now available, I seem to like a lot more PJ songs than I did before the tour started. Some more than others, some have elevated immensely. What is your newest top song? It doesn't have to be your all-time favorite, just something that you recently got into A LOT. Because of the tour, because of the boots, because of whatever.

Mine is Hard to Imagine.

can't help it...i enjoy 1/2 full and eddie's "what the fuck!" at the end of the 2nd verse.

note: every time i throw on the ipod, i swear i find something new that i really enjoy that maybe i didn't spend as much time with earlier.

I'm really diggin Not For You, and Severed Hand more than i used to.
Sheets of empty canvas, untouched sheets of clay
Were laid spread out before me as her body once did.
All five horizons revolved around her soul
As the earth to the sun
Now the air I tasted and breathed has taken a turn

  • Was never the biggest fan of the studio version of All Night -- but it fucking rocked in Hartford! I love the way it sounds live and can't get enough of it.

And Brain of J. too. I've always loved this one but never had the chance to hear it at a show until this time around. The adrenalin rush that song brought to the show was unbelievable!

ALL NIGHT ... Hartford made me a believer!!!
WHY GO ... Always gets my blood going! (what you taught me!!)
BRAIN OF J ... Hartford version SCORCHED my brain!!
I was alone and far away when I heard the band start playing!

...I was always a DeadHead, but when I first heard Winston Rodney, aka the Burning Spear, sing, I became a SpearHead too!

It's cool to see others feel this way too. I have my ALL-Time favorite #1 PJ song that I finally got to hear in Tampa and just about died - Nothingman but after this tour I am really grooving on Sometimes.

OMG!! I can't believe you had the same reaction to that!! I was just overwhelmed with joy when I heard that at Mansfield!! I love the fact that angry Eddie comes out of the woods every once in a while :-)

He did that at the Roo as well, didn't he?

he did do it at Roo...was also listening to Chicago 2 from '06 (until my new shows arrive)...he has a good one in there as well.

went back and listened to it 3 times...just for fun.

  • Really love Down live, which started with Benaroya...also would like to hear more of Fatal. On the new discs, Gone has grown on me significantly, Footsteps sounds great lately, and Who You Are...agree on the IPOD. I have been using the new boots as motivation for running, listened to all of Roo on a 13.1 (half-marathon) run yesterday morning...feeling it today though.
