In '91 I wrote a letter to the record label about Mother Love Bone (pledging my love & support of the band & any future projects). A few months later I received the Alive EP & an invite to join the street team for their new band Pearl Jam. In return I received free tix & backstage passes to my 1st show (Troy, NY) plus tix for the 1st fan club show @CBGB's, 1st xmas single, flyers, etc. At some point later the official 10 Club started and I sent in my $5.

250,xxx sometime in ''01 or '02 i think. I have had very good seats the past couple tours - especially at the smaller Candian venues back in 2005. I have never been right up front & center but reasonably close. I have zero complaints, sure I wish I joined in 92-93 when i got bitten by the bug- but hey WTF?...its all good. The 10C does an incrediable job in my view.
164*** sometime in '97 I believe. I let it expire one year(1996), because I am only missing one X-Mas record and started my 10 Club membership the year of the 2nd X-Mas Record. I wish I could get that number back. Is there any way to do it? What info would I need.
That year for the Yeild tour it wasn't seniority based for seats, it was first come first served. I remember getting the letter in the mail saying we could get 2 tix for any ONE show we wanted. I sent it back out that same day by going and handing it to the person at the post office.
Sure enough, I got my front row center tix for WPB in the mail.
I think that would be a fair way to assign seats these days. It would mix up all the front rows with different seniority fanclub members and just give a fighting chance to everyone in general.
At least this time around they are mixing it up a bit and we all have a small chance at 1,2 and 9,10.
I am not complaining, I have been in row 1-10 for 15 of the 30 shows I have been to. Along with real good wing sections mixed in there for the rest of the shows. I have made it up close a variety of ways. Some have been my 10C#, sometimes I new someone up close that hooked me up, and a few times I just found a way.
Good luck to everyone on this tour with being selected with the up close rows.
