What a nice time of the year. If you are within driving distance of New Hampshire, I would go in the next few weeks for one weekend for a bike ride through the mountains. Very relaxing.

I'm telling you, it's unbelievable, especially high on the mountain tops. Check out those photos...I like the fisherman one the best.

Yeah, that's cool.
Us Arkansans love a good hay bale.
never seen it that color before.
I was born in Mass and also lived in Maine, so I know how beautiful all of New England is, especially at this time of year.
Thanks for bringing some of the beauty to me here in Philly.
oh, no problem. I go to NH a lot during the fall. It's very peaceful.

You did ask for New England fall folliage.
Here's some from Seattle... http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/ABPub/2008/09/08/2008167384.jpg
You must live in the desert?
Or somewhere with just as many if not way more trees. Never understood why everyone made such a big fuss about the changing leaves over there. Doesn't that happen everywhere where there are trees?

I think it pertains more to the scenery in New England in the fall, especially with the covered bridges against the New Hampshire mountain landscape. It's just different. Get some local maple syrup and you're good to go!!!

PA has some of the best foliage going! You just have to go a short drive north of the city and you're there! Driving through the Poconos in October is one of my favorite things to do!
