Are Message Boards addicting?

Maybe not like crack, but I don't think I've gone a week without being on a message board in over a year. Anyone else?

    Not for me...just a way to pass some down time at work....never visit otherwise
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

    yep. it's a safe drug like no other. but b+p'ing, trading, freebing, torrenting live music cds & dvds .. now that's crack addiction right there folks.

    HA! Probably not, but I do slack off a lot at work! I wouldn't say its an addiction in any way though....no different than me going to rollingstone.com or espn.com everyday

    The thing is my friends or boys as you would call it are not into music like I am..I mean they like music but they are not CRAZY for it like all of us.....;)




    So now I can chat it up with thousands of friends all over the world and we all have one thing in common.....Pearl Jam!!

    Hey D - I'll be there to scoop em' all up from ya! I admit I know nothing about boot dvds - actually I have never seen one. Are they watchable? Good quality? I don't even know where the heck I would even get them...anyhoo...some memories of the amazing T.O. shows I have seen would be incredible.

    Posting on this message board gets in your routine. Everyday after work I check my email, fantasy baseball team, PJ message pit. I fall out of the routine a lot though, only 230 something posts in like five years haha.

    I get pretty crabby when my computer or the network crashes....

    It's not just the message pit for me though, it's half a dozen news sources, fantasy sports, Expresso Beans etc. I am truly an internet junkie.

    Only THIS one. I LOVVVVE Kid Rock and Motley Crue and Surfing but im not EVER on any of those boards. All pearl jam all day!!!

    Same here. It's not so much message boards. I just feel like I've got the world at my fingertips with the internet.
    I've got loads of cookbooks at home but if I need a quick recipe, I aways come on here, I have a phonebook but if I need a number I look it up on here, etc. It's sad really, it's like I've frogotten how to use my own initiative in a way.
