    but they do remind me of this one customer. for a long time we couldn't get pistachios, they were out of stock. it was a bummer to many but this guy.. man, he must be addicted to them or something! he'd come round every few days and get all upset if we didn't have them. one time the bossman said we MIGHT get some pistachios for Wednesday (he said this on Mon) and then on Wed, a few hours after we'd opened in comes this guy for his nuts. but there are none. oh man.. :eek:

    he's not scary or anything, just loud and annoying. :p but he sure loves his pistachios.

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

    Pistachios are outstanding... but who ever had the idea to die them pink needs shot. What was wrong with the regular colored ones?

    I used to love them. I would just plow through a shitload of them, just popping open the shells and tossing 'em in my mouth... never really looking at what I was eating. Then one day I bit down on one and it tasted very bitter and disgusting. I spit it out and saw that there was a mealworm or something that had made a cocoon around the nut, and the worm was moving around inside the nut.:eek: I guess what I tasted was the worm guts or something.. it was fucking gross!! I don't really eat them anymore.. but if I do, I make sure to inspect each nut before I pop it into my mouth.

    Never got that either. I hate my fingers getting all that dye on them. And why do people even buy that kind? Is it some kind of plot to get color-hungry kids to eat nuts? Weird.

    when I was younger, I used to paint my lips with the red ones.. or pink or whatever colour they are. It was before I was allowed to wear make up. ;)

    I love pistachios. Half of my daily calorie needs are met in just one cup of pistachios.
    That's why I don't eat them anymore. :(

    I know :( I love them too, I had to stop eating them or else I wouldn't be able to eat anything else for the rest of the day.. they are so addicting. mmmm.. and I loved to lick the salt off the shells. haha

    I love them, ALWAYS eat too many when I have some!
    Seriously could have done without the meal worm story, lol. Funny stuff but thank goodness I look at them before I put them in my mouth and have never seen anything like that. If I saw that, I think it could turn me off from them for good, blech.

    I absolutely love pistachios. I used to have red fingernails all the time from the red ones but now I eat the natural ones. I'm addicted to them for sure.
