    Tom Morello tells this great story...
    He was in the studio with some friends and one of them brought his young teenaged daughter. She was talking about playing 'Guitar Hero' and the 'Rage' songs on it. He told her that he was invited to her house by her Dad and he'd love to play 'Guitar Hero' against her.
    He gets over to their house and there are about 15 of her high school aged friends over to see Tom Morello play 'Guitar Hero'. He sucked at it and she kicked his ass. The buttons and that little bar thing... he couldn't figure it out. All these kids were disappointed because he was TOM MORELLO and he was on the screen... and he sucked.
    So, he went to his car and got his guitar and plugged it into the girl's Dad's Marshall Amp... and turned it up. He played the song against the girl on the video game... with his guitar blasting... and blistered through a solo as best he could. It was so loud that stuff was falling off the table. The kids loved it.

    really? lots of kids drop out of high school and mostof their parents have a high school education

    edit: and also i'm sure they have some amount of money if they can afford to hire a guitar hero tutor

    This is kind of sad. What is being good at Guitar Hero gonna get you in 5 years? 10 years? Parents couldn't bare to hear him complain? Give me a fucking break. This kid's life is pretty much ruined thanks to the guidance of his folks.
