but yeah, the acting, the cinematography, it's breathtaking. and it has peter o'toole, eternal badass. his eyes are still as beautiful and piercing as they were back then, i met him at a booksigning a few years ago and was stopped in my tracks!

reminds me of this story i heard about him, someone working with him on a movie. they said he was smoking on set, just flickign his ashes on the floor. someone offered him an ashtray and he said 'the WORLD is my ashtray'.
