When it comes to internal tempature. I mean I sweat my brains out in rooms where my wife wears sweaters. We are constantly fighting over the tempature in the bedroom. We are always changing the temp in the car and my wife uses the heated seats even in the summers.

Sooner or later she'll go through menopause and start getting hot flashes.

NOt me, I am hot natured. I have been all my life. I have to have a fan on my face at night. All the people in my family are hot natured. The air is on 68 all the time. I hate being hot, I wish I was cold natured. I'm forever fanning myself and wearing cool clothes in the winter while everyone is complaining how freakin cold they are. Must be nice...

I don't know, my fiance is hot then cold then hot. She's like a little human heater sometimes. If she lays next to me when we sleep I wake up sweating because she like an oven.

Not all are, although I suppose a greater percentage are. I've always been warmer than most people and even moved to a cooler climate when I was able. :) I feel for you. Whenever I go somewhere I have to think about what I'm wearing. People who come to our house know to dress warmly. ;)

That's the other thing. I have learned to sleep without anything but the top sheet. She steals the rest of the covers.

my husband says i do this, but i really don't do so b/c i want to be warm, i just like the feeling of being 'covered' for whatever reason. however, we just bought a new comforter, it is exactly the same manufacturer, style and weight of our previous comforter...and yet it is bigger...which is a good thing for the cover tug-of-war...but it is sooo much hotter! i am sure in the winter we will love it, but right now...ack! we still have the central a/c going when we are home!

i thought it was horrible to make generalizations like that. not ALL men and women are like this goddamnit!

my hands and feet are always icy. dont know what it is. but every girl i ever dated was way warmer. used to joke with my ex about how she had good body heat... sleeping next to her was like having an electric blanket.
    and like that... he's gone.

It must be a male thing. My littlest son (4 yrs) got into bed with me the other night. It was like sleeping next to the radiator  Every time I tried to inch away from him, he kept sneaking in next to me for a cuddle, and he was so cute I didn't have the heart to put him back in his own bed :o
I got about 4 hours sleep that night.

forget the sleep number bed, we need sleep number electric blankets, that allow you to choose the temp you like on your side of the bed

obviously using language like 'most'...'many'...and most importantly 'that *I* observe'...makes it clear that it is NOT all, at all. :)

and right now i am sitting at my desk, with my fan on. :)

my wife is always more cold than me.. but i do insist she wears no clothes in the house from the hours of 8pm-12am.
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

It's no coincidence the penis is shaped like a thermometer and reacts accordingly to temperature...

That is hard to compromise, but we do it for them don't we? I always wish that I were cold natured so I can wear a sweater to work and not have to worry about the heater being on 90! lol

since i apparently can't PM you....?

sorry, i don't see it as hypocricy at all...for the reasons i stated. i don't consider it 'wishy-washy' the way i present it, i believe it to be truthful...as oposed to saying ALL of who/whatever do....whatever. so no, no hypocrisy. and the only thing i 'call out' is when anyone presents opinion as fact, or presents vast generalizations as if they apply to all. those are my pet peeves. so i just find it odd at best, that you see some hypocrisy there.....i clearly don't, i see a big difference. and yes, that difference comes down to semantics, but semantics in written discussion especially, play a large role in effective communication imo. disagree....that's all cool too. i just find it weird what you said, b/c it just dosn't fit. obviously, as ever...we see it very differently, even still.

i PUT the qualifying words in, and that makes ALL the difference to me. you call it PC, i call it being far more accurate. tomayto....tomahto. :D

so it's not just you...i give just about everyone shit for such things. :p it's one of my many 'issues.'

back on topic: i am still hot. :o
soooooooo looking forward to the cooler temps!

yeh true! Hahaha and by the time I used to get to work (after walking for about an hour) I was well warmed up so immediately I'd open the window in MY office (didn't have to share with anyone) and the lads just couldn't understand this at all and kept trying to close it :o . I don't need the window open at night cos I'm not TOO bad with the duvet off... although I don't like the idea of not having fresh air all night :o it always kinda made me feel like I was sleeping outside and I liked that :o

no, I am hot all of the time. in the winter, I have to clean with shorts on and a sleeveless shirt or I am just too uncomfortable. And I also have to shower two to three times a day.

but I know what you mean; a lot of people, people who are even a lot larger than me complain they are always cold.
