    sadly i dont live there anymore ,so ive only been to a few

    but i catch them onthe road whenever i can

    Come on Joe give us one (or two:)) more years! The defense looks pretty decent this year. I don't think scoring should be a problem with the talent we've got up front. Hopefully Budaj can step it up and become a great starter. Let's Go Avalanche!

    the guys got def got a few more yrs left in him, and hell if Shanny and Chelios, Hasek etc can still provide a lil something to their respective teams so can Joe

    one of my all time fav. players..dont want to see him go yet :(

    my 2nd favourite team after the leafs. Joe has been my favourite player since his years in quebec.

    Well the Avs took 2 former Leafs Raycroft and Tucker, Raycroft could be the deciding factor if the avs make the playoffs, he was the deciding factor why the Leafs didn't make it last year.

    goaltendings def been a problem fr both those teams...too much of a medicore carousel. But then again theres only a handful of "elite" goalies out there that are capable of carrying their teams to the Cup these days.


    Wish there were more humble players like Sakic who go about their business, produce and never say a word or have controversy follow them. He's a great example of what and how players should be

    Yup, i was so happy when darcy signed with the avs. If his knees come back and he play close to his old form you guys will love him on your team. I was pissed when Raycrap signed though, hopefully he can regain some confidence since he had none for the past 2 years here. Sadly I doubt he'll do anything different and still be the worst goalie in the nhl, sorry about that one guys.

    one yr 6 mill? not bad... Even tho I think he's got more than just a YEAR left in him. Oh well least he's back and we get to enjoy him at least that long

    I don't like the Avs at all, but Joe Sakic is one of my favorite players...i hope he dominates this season

    Now that Super Joe is back in the fold, let camp begin! It should be an interesting season for the Avs. I think Budaj can handle the starting goaltender job, but who knows about Rycroft as his back-up? The D will be better though! If Stasney can step-up and take the reigns from Joe, things look good for the future.
