What are you waiting for? Get part 1 and 2 while you're at it. But NOT 3 - DO NOT even think about watching 3.

So it isn't only Americans from the south who say, "ain't never?"

I've been meaning to for ages. Goodfellas is my favourite film and I know it's about a slightly similar subject matter. Goodfellas was 6th by the way.

Goodfellas and Godfather are similar in the way that Rudy and The Longest Yard are similiar by virture of both being about football.

Goodfellas is great (Scorsese's best film IMO...and yes I've seen Taxi Driver and Raging Bull), and so is Godfather. I'm not going to say it's better, but it's a great film, well deserving of its reputation. Particularly the last half hour.

Yeah I know that. It's just I'm told if you like one you'd probably like the other.

I don't worry so much about it's 'rating', I just like it myself. I think it's pretty cool in every way a movie can be, which makes it a great movie for me.
    I came, I saw, I concurred.....

The Dark Knight came in at #15. Sure it got a lot of praise, but doesn't that seem a bit high on the list?
I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

  • That list is fairly decent actually. A lot of very good films on there. Some shit ones, and the fact that the Dark Knight was voted in while still in the cinema (most votes probably before it even came out) is ridiculous, but overall very good.

Suprised to see 'City Of God' so low down. I've seen that top a lists. But then again they've put an Indiana Jones film in number 2!?
