for work i assume?
anyway...my wife and i moved from OH to WA a little over 2 years ago. we got duped into using a moving company. i would not recommend that at all. they came 3 days late and A LOT OF stuff was broken. way too expensive also.
when we moved back, we rented a Ryder truck. my dad drove that while i followed him in the car. saved money even after paying for gas and it was a nice 'road trip'/
Esther's here and she's sick?
hi Esther, now we are all going to be sick, thanks
i moved from NH to FL by driving my own vehicle (SUV, so that prob. helped, as far as packing goes), and towing a small u-haul. if you are alone, i would suggest that. the u-haul was VERY inexpensive because it wasn't a driveable, although i know the rates can change. so pretty much, aside from the u-haul fee, i just paid for gas.
yea, moving to OH for work....and phoenix isnt what its all cracked up to be.
I'm leaving this fucking state in December
and i can't wait
I couldn't be landlocked, unless the state has really good weather and parks & stuff.
Therefore I can only live on a coastal state or Utah or Colorado
Being landlocked sucks :( The sooner I can live near the ocean again, the better.
Not sure about the USA but in Canada if you move a certain distance for work you can claim it on your taxes. So had I known that shipping my car out here could have been claimed, I would have done so. *sigh* but I can't change it now.
