I wouldn't pay to go see that. I will wait until it's on cable.

    Don't bother.

I guess because his latest movie took in $40mil in its opening weekend

People still get sucked in some how
Like I said. I wanted it to be funny. It could have been to, it was just missing something. It's like they tried to be too careful not to offend anyone and it came off boring.

Basically there are three types of Sandler movies...

Pretty damn good, funny, but not classics by any means:
    Happy Gilmore
    The Wedding Singer
    Billy Madison
Love Reign O'er Me (I'm biased here) ;)

    eh:
    Mr Deeds
    The Waterboy
    Anger Management
    Spanglish

    What the fuck?:
    Little Nicky
    50 First Dates
    Click
    and now... Zohan

The only good acting he has done in a while are his serious roles (Punch Drunk Love, Spanglish, and Love Reign Over Me).

You're not alone. Although i think I won't enjoy this one too much.

Chuck and Larry was great though. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I don't particularly like his movies either. Spanglish was ok. Why does he get 20 million per picture?

    Why does anybody?

Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore were classic slapstick. The Wedding Singer was an excellent, light movie. 50 First Dates was the Wedding Singer 2, a poor man's version, but decent. Everything else he's done is CRAAAAAP.
