No matter what order I put them in someone was going to have a problem so I just listed them. I think I put Sox and Celts first because they are still playing.

I love all the green in the city. Nobody rallies behind a team like Boston.

    I love the bars.

I love the old pictures of all the greats that played here on all the walls.

I love that the rest of the nation might call us front runners for our recent success, but the history and characters of Boston's past are very important to locals.

I love that it's a city of education and a blue collar city all at once.

I really love the hobo army we are building on the Common. Menino is planning on using it to invade NYC. At least that is the word on the street. :)

I had to cut across there at 7:30 one morning. It was like a zombie war zone. Some of them were still fighting.

The best part is when they offer you a beer. I don't even want to know where it came from and if it is really beer or piss.

Good one. This is a topic in itself:
    - The original American Tavern Town.
    - The walls of The Fours
    - Yaz/Papi, Russell/Garnett, Espo/Z, Plunkett/Brady
    - Brookline/Charlestown

Being a displaced New Englander (originally from Mass)

The Yankee pot roast and cornbread at Durgin Park

Flying into Boston on a Saturday morning for an afternoon Bruins playoff game. (not this year :()

My introduction to baseball was a weekend at Fenway . . . way, way, WAY back when and now I am an absolute baseball fanatic

Love the city, love the people and I still consider Mass my home. Will be heading back in June as a matter of fact.

I think this writer is from NY :) I don't think many of us think we are NY and we don't want to be. If anything we try not to be. If you think we are mean how many cheery New Yorkers do you know. That description could easily apply to anyone from the Northeast. I would rather be honest when dealing with people than the phony niceness you get on the left coast. They are like a bunch of pod people.

I've been drinking. I want to get out of work and I'm ticked off as usual.

All of our major Pro stadiums are privately financed.

    Fenway Park
    Gilette Stadium
    TD Banknorth Garden

We are the only city that can say this. We may be known as taxachusetts and be sports mad, but we have our priorities straight too.
