  • I don't even know Ryan Gosling. Seriously.

I didn't think there would be another Joker either BUT I saw James Franco - I'm not a fan or anything - but I did get a feeling. Can't explain it. Gut, I guess.

David Artichoke - isn't he the loser of American Idol? He looks like the 4th Jonas brother or something.

Nope. The doctor said I got EV-D. It's a cognitive disorder and I get my dose of meds next Monday and Tuesday.

Honestly, I've never sat through a whole movie that had James in the cast. I just know who he is through bits and pieces. I got a gut reaction. Got it, Canuck?

He's an Oscar-nominated Canadian actor. Mostly famous for The Notebook- a popular and successful teen romance movie. He's been doing mainly indie flicks lately though.

    His bio: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0331516/

He was in the best film of 2007 called Lars And The Girl(in my opinion of course). Also check out Half-Nelson, he earned an Oscar nomination for the role.

i dont think anyone but daniel day lewis could possibly follow up heath's performance.

I have heard scores of people talk about how heath was the personification of the joker in TDK. He wasnt acting, he was The Joker. there was no seperation.

    Have to agree.

Yes, okay. I saw The Notebook and loved it. I bet a lot of young people liked it, but it appealed to us old folk as well. Anyway, anybody from Canada is okay in my book.
My daughters probably watched every movie Ryan has been in, but now that I don't oversee what they watch, I no longer know who is up and coming.
I will have to put Lars and The Girl in my Netflix queue. Thanks.

oh jeez do i have a story for that... i was at a video store late one night with a girl i was seeing at the time... and this creepy old dude just started talking to us nonstop and recommending movies... eventhough we had already chosen one and were clearly not looking for his advice or indepth analysis of each film... this went on for probably 45 minutes

anyway... the moral of the story... EVERY film he mentioned starred ryan gosling... mustve been a fan :D

ill agree that hes talented though...

oh and yah... this thread is pointless... they would NEVER recast! jokers done!

I beg to differ. Forever is a long time is all I'm saying.

ok... maybe not "never"... let me specify... NOLAN will never recast someone to play the joker in HIS series of batman films... what people do in the future is out of my hands... but that probably wont be for a long time so we cant possibly know which actors will be around then

someone was saying nolan has enough stock footage for a short joker cameo in the next film if he so chooses... so heath may still be the joker :D
