My best friend and fellow Pearl Jam fan died on Friday after a brave battle with cancer. Do yourself a favor and check out the below sites:

    I'm very sorry for your loss. She seems like she was an amazing woman! While looking for eddie and pj in the musician's set, I could not find them, but I found her drawing of Sean Watkins (I just met him, he played with glen phillips in northern va. He's a great musician! And photographer! He took pics of me with glen)

    Also, I noticed she was in Richmond, VA. I was born south of there.

    Your friend seemed like she didn't let the cancer get her down. May she rest in peace.

    Very sorry. :( It made me look twice though as I went to school with a Cindy Woods, approximately the same age. She was very talented and will be missed.

    I am so sorry to hear this news, but I know that she's in a much better place now. I'm glad that the two of you were able to share some Ed and PJ experiences this past summer. She was a very talented artist and form I've heard, the sweetest person ever.

    I'm sitting here sniffing and wiping tears from my sleepy cheeks as I type...

    I'm sorry for your loss... but an even more powerful feeling is of the joy for the friendship you shared with Cindy... Not even death can take that kind of love away.

    I woke up this morning, feeling bitter about the hand I've been dealt and somehow ended up meeting Cindy and learning about some of her story... it didn't take long for some of the 'sting' to drop away from me. *nods smiling* Your dear friend is not 'gone'... she's still 'here' and will continue to be. Today she helped me see how fortunate I really am... and for that I'm grateful...

    When someone so beautiful... shares so much that is so true... they leave a mark on the world that lives on ... long after they have passed...

    All of your messages are so lovely. I really appreciate it.
    Cindy's service was today. It was a wonderful celebration of her life.
    We played a slide show of her art, accompanied by some of her favorite music, Man Of The Hour included. People told great stories.
    Everyone should be so lucky to have a service like that for them.
