    I totally think it sucks when people you know you are suppose to be able to count on, forget things like your birthday.

    I think birthdays are specials just because to me, it means the time I say to someone I love, "I am glad you were born." That is a bit dramatic and subtle at the same time. If only to acknowledge the importance of them in my life I like to let them know that.
    If she forgot and you know she normally would not have and you can account that to a time in her life where maybe she is preoccupied and in your case, forgiven, but other than that if it was a blatent absentmindedness that speaks of her selfishness, perhaps, then I agree,

    WHEN IT IS HER BIRTHDAY, YOU CAN "FORGET" ABOUT IT AS WELL....
