From wikiepdia:

The Bridge focuses on the large number of suicides that occur each year at the Golden Gate Bridge, capturing footage of the suicides and interviewing family members. Also interviewed are people who have attempted suicide at the bridge, witnesses of the suicides, and a jump survivor.

The movie was shot with multiple cameras pointed at a notorious suicide spot on the bridge during 2004. It captured 19 people as they took their final plunge, and then offers interviews with grieving families.

I watched it after Artie on Howard Stern was talking about it- ironically my uncle runs the Cleveland art institutes's movie theater and he was showing it. It's pretty sad that people do that
  • My apartment in San Francisco was right near one of the places where the filmmakers set up their equipment. They were there day & night for an entire year & any time someone asked they just said they were doing a film about the "nature of the Bridge." Which... is pretty much true.

Gene really effected me in the movie. There was something about him that made me really think I could have saved him- probably because he was close to my age & I know a few people who have been at the end of a hopeless rope who eventually came out of it.

Really the saddest movie I think I have ever seen. Lots of people call it a snuff film, but it's not. Suicides would've happened whether the cameras were pointed on them or not.
    :(
