Love you too buddy! I'd much rather be a "piece of shit" fan of a winning team in a beautiful stadium as opposed to whatever you deplorable human beings call yourselves up there. I don't know what was more exciting for me....being there on Saturday night when the Phillies clinched or watching Wes Helms (WES FREAKING HELMS) knock you out of the playoffs again. I made sure to DVR's the 8th and 9th inning yesterday just for all the crowd shots of you "piece of shit fans" sulking and looking like you wanted to die. I was literally laughing outloud.

    Warmest regards,
    Jose Reyes
The most exciting player in Major League Baseball

PS...this is all you need to know about the Muts:
"In the clubhouse, players who endured a miserable fall and a dreary winter could not believe they were in for more of the same. José Reyes sat sobbing in front of his locker, his head in his hands, cursing himself. Wright, who admitted feeling pressure to carry the team, staggered around like a zombie, his eye black smudged. Jeff Wilpon, the chief operating officer, walked around consoling players, shaking Schoeneweis’s hand and sitting beside John Maine and Mike Pelfrey to offer encouragement. As he left, Carlos Beltrán fell onto Martínez’s shoulder, crying."

If it weren't for the 'joke' that is their bullpen who blew nearly 30 save opportunities, the big bad Phillies even with their remarkable achievement of not losing a single fucking game when leading after 8, would have finished pretty fucking far behind....it was a joke of a season..

Well, here's the thing - they DIDN'T. Ya see? Here in the MLB games are played for 9 innings. I don't wanna hear your woulda, coulda, shoulda....no New York teams in the playoffs...it really is a beautiful thing.

Yes, I am aware but the clarification is appreciated..just pointing out facts/excuses ;)...there were so many games where the Mets were up like 5/6/7 only to see the bullpen cost them the game..Santana alone should have won well over twenty games this season..but whatever, you're right about the coulda woulda..they stink, and your team is obviously not much better..but better they are and better they were in the last week of the season..

Well thank you. I especially appreciate the high condescending smugness that comes from the usual New Yorker.

Don't worry. Your Yanks will buy whom ever is out there to make your team better.

Okay Pam, good luck in the playoffs..The shitty Brewers could barely get out of their own way down the stretch so your team should actually be able to advance..

Dude, I SO am. And I should go on with my feelings of NY while Philly fans are bashed. Granted the making fun of Mets fans is warranted right now.

I give you credit for havin balls....If all of my major sports teams have been shut out of championships for decades, I sure as hell wouldn't jinx them

All the people here talking shit about Philly fans as a whole or NY fans as a whole are the true assholes. It's people like you guys who give a bad name to each organization's followers. It's real cool that you think someone is a piece of shit for liking a certain team- if sports controls your life that much, you must not have much of one. Yea, true each team will have assholes in the crowd (as some of you here have already proven) but I would guess that most people aren't. Now let the bashing begin.

And no I'm not a Mets fan even though I'm from Queens.

Considering the parties here (not you), I think its personal

And busting each other's balls (like saying your city hasn't won a championship, or hey your team choked again) is a lot different than bashing the fans over and over

I guess in this case I just saw it turning from joking to personal. I know that as a Giants fan I mess with my friends who are Cowboys and Pats fans all the time (at least right at this moment when I actually still can :)) but we don't rip apart each other.

Thats why its funny. How can you bash fans? We are all a bunch of idiots. To say some are worse than others makes no sense

Thats why I always enjoy concerts more than most sporting events, we are all winners for seeing bands like PJ, you never really leave feeling like u lost
